WSET style tasting note
Appearance – clear and bright, pale intensity gold, showing small-sized bubbles and tears.

Nose – clean on the nose, with a medium (+) intensity, youthful, with an opening aroma of warm stewed cooking apple, then stone fruit – unripe apricot with a confected hint.

Palate – a dry wine, with medium (+) acidity, no tannin but with a slight gummy grip, medium (-) alcohol and a medium (-) body, with medium intensity flavours of ripe red dessert apple and riper stone fruit than on the nose. A creamy mousse, with a medium persistence, and a medium length, with a clean crisp finish.

Quality – an acceptable quality wine, fruit dominated and quite simple, with a good nose but waning intensity on the palate.  Acidity and alcohol are in balance, and in harmony with the intensity of flavour.   A moderate length with a slight gummy grip on a clean finish.
