WSET style tasting note
Appearance – clear and bright, medium intensity ruby, showing distinct tears.

Nose – clean on the nose, with a medium (+) intensity, developing, with aromas of lifted preserved cherry, black plum, spicy black olive and a hint of vanilla.

Palate – a dry wine, with medium (+) acidity, medium well integrated tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, with medium (+) intensity flavours of red fruit – cherry, violet, liquorice, dried herbal and savoury nuances. The length is medium (+) with a clean finish.

Quality – a good quality wine, moderately complex, with a balance between acidity and alcohol, which are in harmony with the flavour intensity. Some tertiary development. Quite a good length with a pleasant clean finish. A food wine, which will keep and develop, for perhaps 2-3 years.
