WSET style tasting note
Appearance: clear and bright, medium intensity gold, showing tears and small bubbles.
Nose: clean on the nose, of pronounced intensity, developing, with aromas of stewed apple, warm brioche, digestive biscuit, warmed thick honey, rich leaf tea and a hint of anise.
Palate: an off-dry wine, with medium (+) acidity, a low-key gummy grip, medium alcohol and a medium body, of medium (+) intensity, with flavours of baked apple, warm toast, warm buttered pastry, rich leaf tea and dried fruits. A long length enriched by the residual sweetness, with a creamy mousse and a long persistence, with a slight bitterness on the finish.
Quality: a wine of very good quality, with a touch of sweetness adding another sensorial dimension and rounding out the acidity. A perfectly harmonious wine in terms of acidity and alcohol, with flavour intensity. There is good intensity and concentration of flavours, of broadening complexity, showing interesting tertiary development with baked, stewed and spicy notes. This wine is ready to drink, but will continue to develop in cellar over 3-5 years.
