WSET style tasting note
Appearance: clear and bright, pale intensity lemon, showing tears.
Nose: clean on the nose, medium intensity, youthful, with aromas of ripe gala apple, and low-key lemony citrus.
Palate: a dry wine, with medium acidity, medium alcohol and a medium (-) body, medium (-) intensity, a very low-key grip, a smooth texture, with flavours of grapefruit pith, green apple, and a hint of pear drop. A medium (-) length with an appley, slightly bitter finish.
Quality: an acceptable quality wine, quite monotone, balanced yet simple, with a bitterness and hollowness on the shortish finish. It lacks intensity and concentration, with no complexity at all. This wine is aimed at early consumption.
Readiness for drinking/potential for ageing: ready to drink now, with time bitterness will only be accentuated as the fruit fades, consume within a year.
