Consumer tasting note: a nose of red berries edges with grapefruit and a hint of the bakery; medium bodied, with a palate of red cherry, currant and stewed strawberry. A medium length. No need to decant.

Appearance: clear and bright, medium intensity salmon, showing tears and small bubbles.
Nose: clean, medium (+) intensity, fully developed, with aromas as they come, of red cherry, strawberry, ripe grapefruit, a very low-key edge of anise, hints of leaf tea and the bakery.
Palate: dry, medium acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity, a light grip, with flavours of red cherry, red currant, cold stewed strawberry. A medium length with a clean red berried finish and a low-key grip. A creamy mousse with a medium persistence.
Quality: good, nicely balanced acidity with alcohol, in keeping with the flavour intensity; showing some complexity, decent concentration, following into a medium length, with modest bubble persistence.
Drinking readiness/ageing potential: drink now, unsuited to further ageing.
