Consumer tasting note: faulty.

WSET style tasting note
Appearance: a fine dusty seeming surface, deep intensity ruby, showing tears.

Nose: unclean, pronounced intensity, faulty, with aromas as they come, of chopped sappy wood, light oloroso/palo cortado sherry, a developing touch of farmyard, almond.

Palate: dry, medium (+) acidity, drying medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium (+) intensity, with flavours mirroring the nose. A very short length with a bitterness on the end.

Quality: faulty – oxidised, brett infected.

Drinking readiness/ageing potential: faulty.
