Seyval blanc fruit set

Fruit has now set, berries are 3-4 mm diameter.  There is a bit of yellowing at leaf edges and between some veins , need to look into that.

Seyval blanc side shoot removal

Side shoot removal continues, there was prodigious sprouting whilst we were in France for August.  The selected canes for next year are thickening up nicely and just starting to lignify.

I am continuing to remove flowers and, as the canes develop, am gradually selecting a number from which to choose those to retain, later on, for next year.

Seyval blanc 3 weeks after bud burst

Seyval blanc 3 weeks after bud burst.  Four days sun, otherwise mostly rain in the last 2 weeks since my last post.  The inflorescences are just starting to show.
